The Adventures of Doo--just this week!

Well, from time to time I have to tell a few little stories on the 2 year old....Doo!

Tale #1
Last Sunday morning the hubbs and I were having a cup of coffee and felt that our house had gotten entirely too quiet. Upon wondering around our house and hollering for our kiddos he hears...as she yelled out, "Ina croset." (In the closet). We went in to find her having a blast with our shoes...all in a pile and being tried on by two adorable little feet.

Tale #2
The hubbs and I were sitting in our office observing our kiddos playing on Thursday morning when we realized that Doo had placed her giant giraffe beside her and was holding it's hand and talking to her. We began listening and realized she was pretending it was her big sister--Bug. She said, "Go for a ride Bug? Ludge you big!" We got the snapshot of her after she had finished her little discussion.

Tale #3
This one will have to take the cake though. On Saturday, I walked into Doo's room and was instantly HIT with the smell of cocoa butter and cucumber. My sweet Doo had disobeyed the standing rule of staying in her bed until we came to get her and retrieved two bottles of lotion from her dresser. She had applied it liberally to her face, her head, her blankets and taken off her pillow case to lotion up the pillow itself. Before speaking I walked out and went and got the hubbs and the camera. I knew I'd want to remember this event. She just grinned really big and said, "Cheese!" She had to have a bath immediately. I can still smell the cucumber on her little head even after a bath. I kid you not.

She seriously makes this life I lead more adventurous and ten times the entertainment with her. Oh how I love my lil Doo!

~Side note...these are her favorite pj's...and I know that they are Christmas! :) She's mine for sure!~
