Doo is 14!!

 Today my Doo is 14. I still see her as a toddler with dimples and pointing her little finger asking “What’s dat?”

She’s growing up into a lovely young lady. She’s kind, compassionate, giving and quick witted. She loves to make you laugh, loves to learn new arts and crafts, loves to be with friends and family, loves to ask questions…she’s a seeker and a learner. She’s everything I wanted to be when I was 14. I don’t think she recognizes just what a gem she really is! 

I don’t have words to string together to describe just how much I love her…she’s priceless to her daddy and I in countless ways. God genuinely enriched our lives in the most profound way by allowing us to be her momma and daddy. Watching her grow in Christ and seeing her character develop…I am floored at the ways God intends to use her life for Him. I can see His hand all over her future. It is our fervent prayer as her parents that she continue to seek, continue to learn and continue to foster that deep love for Jesus. 

I can’t believe how insanely fast 14 years has gone by. She is simply magnificent. We adore her beyond words.
