Bug's 4th Birthday

Today our Bug turns 4. It truly amazes me that God chose me to get the privilege of being her mommy. There aren’t words to describe the miracle that she is. Her smile, her hugs, her cutting little eyes, her sweet personality…these are things you know about her if you are one of the people in her life. I prayed to be a mom for a long time and God gave me the greatest treasure in making Bug my first baby. I can remember that day in the NICU like it was yesterday…all 2 lbs. 13 oz. of her was incredible! I sang the song I “Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus” in the NICU because it was a reminder that our great God gives us the desires of our hearts. It still calms her after a seizure or reassures her when she is becoming frustrated. Our Bug has allowed us to share Jesus in so many places…because of who she is. I wouldn’t be who I am today, if not for my sweet Bug.

Happy 4th Birthday! We love you so very much! You were one of the most incredible surprises I have ever been given!
