And the baby is 11. Officially a tween. Last year of elementary school. Middle school in 5 months. Mercy, time please slow down!!
This girl is kind, funny, quirky, loving, tender hearted, talented...the list goes on and on. She is worth far more than she will ever fully recognize to her daddy and myself. She loves BIG. Really big! Family time, quality time, time together is her biggest request always. She'd rather be with family and make memories more than anything else! A day out adventuring in town is made "THE BEST DAY EVER" when Baday joins in on the fun! I love that just having my momma come along brings her so much joy! Days when I'm away and Popo comes over with lunch for the girls--let's just say it's also a DAY MADE!
She loves stuffed animals and baby dolls and loves to still play dress up and put on performances...and I relish that fact. The world outside is cold and often pushes young girls to grow up quickly. She is a young heart and I hope that never changes.
She loves Jesus! She loves when she prays and she sees Him answer...and I love hearing her beautiful voice sing His praises while she's doing schoolwork or just folding laundry at the dining room table.
Puzzles. Her and her daddy putting puzzles together at the dining room table has become a core memory for the both of them....and momma too. I love seeing their joy at finishing a puzzle together after a few days of working on it! It's a small thing--but it's huge in her eyes! That time with her daddy is what she loves!
It's hard to believe that our baby is 11. Really hard. It happens in a blink.
